SGL Labs is a leading gemological lab co-headquartered in London and New York. The company serves more than 5500 clients in 153 countries through its chain of 16 laboratories.
SGL Labs team was looking for a new corporate website to showcase the company’s information in a contemporary fashion.
Solution
Our analyst, web developer, and designer did multiple rounds of Zoom sessions with the SGL Labs management team to understand their expectation from the website. We listed down the web pages that would be required on the website and also planned the structure of the website.We started presenting the SGL Labs team with the UX and UI design. We stuck to the brand’s guidelines and font preferences. Each page was built on AdobeXD to give management a clear view of the final product.
Once all the designs were approved, we started the implementation. We used a widely popular content management system i.e. WordPress for website development. Furthermore, we used the Elementor page builder to build the theme and the pages within WordPress.After all the pages development was completed, we started the integration process of third-party tools and in-house systems. We connected the website with the company’s certificates and reports management system. Additionally, we also integrated mail marketing tools, CRM system, automation tools, and so on.
Before launch, the website was tested by our testing and quality assurance team on different browsers (Safari, Windows, Chrome, etc.) and devices (mobile and desktop) and from different time zones.

Impact
The new website was officially launched in August 2021. It was a smooth transition from the previous site with all essential functionalities working as intended.The management team and clients of SGL Labs loved the new website for its design and speed. The website attracts more than 100 thousand unique visitors per month from different geographies and instantly services their requests.
